Former Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa and UPFA hambantota district MP Namal Rajapaksa arrived at the Financial Crime Investigation Division (FCID) this morning after they were summoned to record statements over two different allegations.
According to the Police Media Unit, former defence secretary Gotabaya rajapaksa was summoned in connection with a financial transaction of Rs. 90 million which had taken place when constructing the D.A. Rajapaksa Memorial Museum in Medamulana, Hambantota.
Meanwhile, MP Rajapaksa; former President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s elder son had been summoned with regard to a case involving the Hi-Corp Company, the Police revealed.
