Bernard Tours (Pvt) Ltd, a long-standing partner in the Sri Lankan travel industry, unveiled its new corporate logo on 10th September, 2015. The crisp new look reflects both the evolution of the company as well as its vision for the future.
The company has been in the travel trade for three generations. Joseph Mendis, founder of the company commenced operations in 1947 with just two limousines and strong core values of personalized service and genuine hospitality. His grandson, Anjalo Mendis has since steered Bernard Tours into an internationally well respected Destination Management Company.
Today, the company promotes travel and leisure in Sri Lanka to more than 28 countries, and focuses on non-traditional markets which comprise of niche markets and high-end clients. Bernard Tours is a pioneer in Benelux Markets.

Bernard Tours’ new logo has a striking and crisp feel. It is a minimalist-type sketch of an orange rising sun, out of a soft blue wave that can be interpreted as a cloud, wave or mountain range, all of which are essentially a part of Sri Lankan landscape. The rising sun signifies the company’s intention to explore new horizons.
Today, Bernard Tours (Pvt) Ltd have added key growth markets such as event management, wedding planning, high-end incentives, celebrity tours, film location sourcing, and hotel management to its portfolio.
