It is with deep appreciation that we  thank all those who were of great strength, help and support to us during Uditha’s illness and particularly during the last week after his demise.

We express our gratitude and respect towards the Reverend members of the Maha Sanga and the members of the clergy of other faiths for the blessings Uditha received.
We sincerely thank the doctors who attended on him, the nurses and the staff of Central Hospital.

Our heartfelt gratitude and thanks are extended to the Chairman of Diesel and Motor Engineering PLC (DIMO), Mr. Ranjith Pandithage and  Jeevanie, who were pillars of strength to us. The Directors and Members of the staff of DIMO for their acts of unconditional kindness and concern throughout his illness and handling all arrangements at the funeral.

Director, Dr. Ajantha Dharmasiri, Members of the Boards, Academics, Administrative staff, Alumni and students of the Postgraduate Institute of Management;  the institute which held a special place in his heart. Thank you for the numerous ways in which you assisted us.  Moreover, we humbly express our gratitude for the tributes and honour given to him at the funeral. This touched our hearts very deeply. We also thank the members and staff of the UGC and the Academic and Administrative staff of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura for the concerns shown.

Other professional bodies, Chartered Institute of Marketing, Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing, The Institute of Chartered Accountants, Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, NIBM, The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce and all the other institutions for the concern they had shown and the various ways in which they helped us, during the funeral.

We also express our gratitude to the Directors and staff of other organizations where he served on the Board; Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC, Ceylon Cold Stores PLC,  Chemanex PLC, Richard Peiris & Co.PLC, Singer Sri Lanka PLC , Talawekelle Tea Estates PLC, and Wijeya News Papers.

We thank our very close friends and neighbors who continued to be very concerned about Uditha throughout his illness.

Finally, we thank all those who came to pay their last respects to Uditha, attended his funeral and sent messages of condolences and floral tributes; you touched our hearts very deeply and were an immense source of solace in our moment of grief and sadness.  Uditha’s mother, immediate family members and relatives join us in conveying and expressing their appreciation.

Should we have missed out any person or organisation in this acknowledgement of thanks and appreciation, we regret such omissions. We express our regrets for not being able to thank you individually.

We once again sincerely thank all of you for the kindness and love showered on Uditha and us before and after his demise. You will be blessed for your acts of benevolence.
