A 24-member Sri Lanka women’s rugby squad has been named in preparation for the upcoming Asian Sevens and Olympic qualifiers.
The Asian Sevens will be held in China (September 5 and 6) and Colombo (October 10 and 11) followed by the two Olympic qualifying rounds in Hong Kong (November 7 and 8) and Japan (November 27 and 28).

The squad from which the final tour party will be picked:
Heshala Karunaratne, Anusha Attanayake, Niranjala Wickremasinghe, Shanika Sandamali, Nadeeshani Weerasinghe (all from Air Force), Malkanthi Ratnayake, Ayesha Perera, Nadeeka Munasinghe, Niranjala Wickremaratne, Nilmini Weerasinghe, Iresha Wijekoon, Rukshani Ariyasena, Dulani Pallekondage (all from Army), Thanuja Weerakkody, Sanjeewani Wijetilleke, Kumudumali Randika, Sandamali Sandeepa, Dasuni de Silva, Madumali Shanuka, Hemakumari Sandeeka, Dilrukshi Kumari, Dilanka Abeysekera, Wasana Weerakkody and Dilani Polhewage (all from Navy)
