Sri Lanka Cricket will conduct an under-19 Zonal quadrangular tournament with the intentions to pick the under-19 national squad in preparation for the next Youth World Cup.

Four zonal teams have been picked for this tournament consisting of 65 players from schools throughout the country.

Kavin Bandara (D.S. Senanayake), Salinda Ushan (Isipathana), Charith Asalanka (Richmond Galle) and Avishka Fernando (St. Sebastian’s) will lead the four teams named Zonal A, B, C and D. They will play each other twice.
