The United National Party which contests the elections as the United National Front for Good Governance (UNFGG) says that will present a five-point master-plan for the development of the country.
Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe addressing a rally in Kalutara said that a five-point master-plan for the development of the country will pave way for a safer country will be launched next week. The five points include generating employment opportunities, increasing revenues and infrastructure facilities as well as preventing corruption.
He further added that the UNF government which is to be formed on August 18 will introduce a new constitution that safeguards people’s rights. He also emphasized that the UNF has already made the arrangements to create one million jobs within the next five years. The UNFGG held its maiden election rally in Kandy on Tuesday.
