Unbeaten Mahanama College Panadura juniors entered the pre-quarter finals of the ongoing all island inter schools under-15 division two cricket tournament by gaining four consecutive victories during the second round played recently. Already they have won eight matches during the season including first round matches with an unbeaten record. Ravindu Shan Salgado has topped 730 runs this season from nine matches with three centuries with a highest score of 206 against Madampa Central in a second round match while Kamil Mishara has posted 510 runs with two hundreds which including 127 against Ananda Sastralaya Matugama came off just 59 balls with four sixes and 21 fours as his highest.

Asitha Jayalath topped the bowling averages with 21 wickets for 134 runs from nine games while Pavithra Lakkana has claimed 12 wickets. Skipper and all rounder Tishan Avishka Dilhara made 175 runs and also captured eight wickets.

Mahanama have posted three totals of over 300 and also recorded three victories by over 200 run margin this season. Basil Jinendra is their coach.
