A demanding track will be laid out to conduct the 7th consecutive Sigiriya Rally Cross organized by the Sri Lanka Air Force and the Sri Lanka Auto Sports Drivers Association (SLADA) at the circuit in Sigiriya on 1st and 2nd August.

The track is designed with both rally and obstacle courses that will excite and enthrall participants and spectators alike. Not only will it test the speed, it will also put to test the skills of riders and drivers. Success will depend on a combination of experience and technique. The challenge that will pose to the racing enthusiast will also entice more spectators to attend these events and drive to uplift the standard of the sport in the country.

Many talented competitors have already enrolled to participate in this edition of the Sigiriya Rally Cross that should not be missed.

The primary objective in organizing this event is to enhance mutual understanding and trust between Air Force personnel and the civilians, to promote and assist the local hotel and business community in the area. The proceeds from this event will go towards the welfare activities of Air Force personnel.

Practice sessions will be staged on 1st August while the main event will be on the next day.
