Tamil Union’s prolific left-hand batsman Rumesh Buddhika will lead Sri Lanka in their three-match unofficial Emerging Players series against South Africa starting July 30 at the Pallekele International Stadium.
The 15-member squad picked by the selectors also includes promising leg-spinner Jeffrey Vandersay who took a match bag of eight wickets for Sri Lanka Board President’s XI in the three-day warm-up match against the touring Pakistan team.

South Africa Emerging team is due to arrive on July 27.
