The competition, organized by the national body of marketing; Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) is now open for entries which will close on 27th July, 2015. The awards ceremony will be held on a grandeur scale on 5th November 2015 at the BMICH.
SLIM Brand Excellence 2015 will see a new category – Online Brand of the Year – where brands using internet or internet related mediums to generate 80% or more of its revenue can compete.
“This is the only awards show in the country which rewards brands and brand custodians excelling in the brand marketing arena,” SLIM President, Ruwan Liyanagamage said.
Participants can compete in thirteen categories, including the newly introduced ‘Online Brand of the Year. The others are: Product Brand of the Year, Service Brand of the Year, Innovative Brand of the Year, Turnaround Brand of the Year, Local Brand of the Year, Best New Entrant of the Year, International Brand of the Year, SME Brand of the Year, CSR Brand of the Year, Export Brand of the Year, B2B Brand of the Year and Regional Brand Recognition Award.
