Trinity College had to maintain their composure and play a controlled game of rugby to beat an enterprising DS Senanayake College 41-14 to book a berth in the inter-school Milo Knock-Out tournament at the Royal Complex ground in Colombo on Monday.

At one stage DSS gave Trinity a scare leveling the scores 7-7 early in the first half but the Kandy players using their superior skills ensured they had the match in control in the second half.

The only time DSS came close to threatening Trinity in the second half was when they scored ten minutes into the half to make the scores 22-14.

Trinity will now play against Isipathana at the same venue on July 5 (Sunday) in the semi final.

Royal and Science College will play in the first semi final on July 4.

The final is scheduled for July 12.
