They say yoga unites all. But not Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal and his bête noire lieutenant governor Najeeb Jung.
Kejriwal and Jung, fresh from their turf war over key appointments in the Delhi government, came to the Rajpath early on Sunday morning for the yoga day celebrations but positioned themselves on different sides of the central vista.
According to the official arrangements, Kejriwal was to sit just two chairs away from Jung in the VVIP zone. But both decided not to be mere spectators and joined the gathering in performing yoga asanas.
Kejriwal, accompanied by deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia, arrived at the venue much before Jung came in. As the media went into a frenzy, Kejriwal did not go to the chair assigned for him but sat on a yoga mat in a zone facing the South Block.
