Isipathana College have objected to meeting Royal College on the latter’s home ground at a possible final of the Milo trophy Knock-Out rugby tournament which gets underway on Sunday at the Royal Sports Complex ground.

The Milo tournament is annually conducted at the venue which is also Royal’s home ground and the two schools also met in last year’s final which Isipathana won.
Isipathana lost their last League match to Royal who were the legitimate host last Saturday.

The Sri Lanka Schools Rugby Football Association said the matter was under discussion.
Royal and Isipathana received byes to the semi finals after Wesley College and St. Anthony’s College withdrew from the tournament with DS Senanayake earning promotion to meet Trinity after St. Joseph’s College also pulled out.

Quarter finals:
June 28: St. Peter’s College vs Science College
June 29: Trinity College vs DS Senanayake College

Semi finals:
July 4: Royal vs winners of St. Peter’s/Science
July 5: Isipathana vs winners of Trinity/DSS

Final:
July 12 (venue to be confirmed)
