Kandy’s Trinity College and Kingswood College have qualified to play in the second round cup competition of the inter school rugby tournament. Trinity in the first round won four games out of five, and Kingswood were able to win two out of five games.

Trinity College in their first second round game will meet S. Peter’s College on May 30th in Colombo and Kingswood College too will be Colombo on the same day to play Royal College.

Then on 6th June Trinity College will play host to Kingswood College at Pallekelle which is going to be a home and home game. On 13th June Isipathana will travel up to Pallekelle to play against Trinity College and Kingswood College will be at Mt. Lavinia to scrum down with Science College.

On 20th June St. Joseph’s College will play against Trinity College at Pallekelle and Kingswood College will play S. Thomas’ College at Havelock Park.

So, it is going to be rugby at it is best, all schools are good in their ball handling and knowledge of game should give a good show. Out of the eight teams only two are unbeaten in Royal College and Isipathana College. So, it is going to rugby at its best.
