Percy Jackson and the Olympians, an all-time favorite book series written by American author, Rick Riordan, marks its 10th anniversary in June 2015, since its release in 2005. The first out of the series, Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief tells about a boy named Percy Jackson, who is considered as a demigod and the only living child of Poseidon, stumbling upon a very exciting adventure with his fellow camp Half-Blood members and best friends, Grover Underwood and Annabeth Chase.
The rest of the series contains five installments, following the rest of mysteries, adventures and life-threatening situations that Percy faces. Ever since 2010, series has also been adopted into a movie series by the same name.
