Football Federation of Sri Lanka (FFSL) is set to conduct its annual General Meeting on May 23 with the participation of affiliated Leagues in attendance. All Leagues representatives will get the opportunity of casting their vote for candidates of their choice to run the FFSL.

Two factions are facing the election to get control over FFSL. Though two parties are involved, one faction has already published its team to contest and also their proposal for the future. This particular faction is led by former national player and captain and former CEO of FFSL. According to reliable sources the second team too is led by a former national player and a former official who had served the Football Federation for a long period. (BP)
